Before I made my way down to Sea Bright, NJ… I was a busy busy gal up north!!

On Friday, August 27, Marena and I worked with Noelle and her girls at the Hamilton Park Hotel providing fabulous hairstyles.

The bride wore her hair in a glamorous cascading updo with extensions.



On Saturday - I headed up to Bloomingburg, NY(think upstate NY near Woodbury Commons) to provide hair services for Danielle and her ladies…..they were such great, easy going gals. i managed to do 5 heads in 2 hours!! Here is a sneak peek of that ‘do!

Afterwards….Marena met up with her to provide hair services to Dara in West Orange, NJ who wed at the Manor. Dara wore beautiful extensions in a half up half down with a Giavan hairpiece purchased at Pink Comb and also had her makeup done by me:)



While Michelle and Marena were running amuck up north, Angela and Mayra started their day in Eatontown, NJ with Andrea and her bridal party. They all enjoyed hair and makeup and looked beautiful! Now funny story - Steve and I were GUESTS at this wedding so I confirm the hair and makeup was a perfect 10.

The  clients raved to me ALL night about how much they loved everything AND the bride even asked me to remove her veil for her:) A Wedding beauty specialist’s Job is NEVER done.

It was great to work alongside CLB Photography and also admire the beautiful creations of Bonnie at Petal Beach(www.petalbeach.com).

Amy booked me about a year ago! We had a nice time getting to know eachother and plan for her big day. She was torn between a half do and an updo since it is summer so we went with an AWESOME side pony and dressed it up with extensions. Jersey Girl Creed: YOU CAN NEVER HAVE TOO MUCH HAIR!

And i can’t leave out these sweet words from Amy!

Michelle I can’t even explain how awesome you are and how glad I was to have you here yesterday! You are absolutely wonderful at what you do. A million thank yous for everything! You are the Best! :)

People don’t believe me when I tell them that my busiest weekends are Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day and Thanksgiving Weekend. 99% of the time…I get awesome clients, such as Amy,  who make working the holiday so great! Some brides and their families truly are a home away from home! Hanging  out with a bridal party in the morning is awesome and it always brings a smile to my face.

The ladies I worked with on the 4th of July this year were awesome and Marena and I had a BLAST!!

Here is a kind note from Amy, my 4th of July bride!!

I loved my hair the day of the wedding!  It stayed in all night and I got a ton of compliments as well.  My mom’s hair was also stunning and so were all of my bridesmaids.  Thank you again for all of your patience with me throughout the planning process.  If anyone needs someone for hair, I will definitely send them your way!!!

I have attached some photos from the wedding day that show my hair.  Not sure if you use them for anything, but you really did an awesome job!!!!

I just got back from our honeymoon.  It was incredible vacation that began with an incredible wedding day.  Thank you so much for the amazing hair job you did on not only myself, but on my mother and all my bridesmaids.  Everyone look stunning and was so happy with their dos.  In fact, many people at the wedding even commented on how great everyone looked.
And, you were right, my hair stayed in all night - even with all of the dancing!  And believe me, we danced the night away!  The wedding was a blast!!  I keep looking at pictures and admiring how great my hair turned out.  You made me feel like a beautiful bride and what I had dreamed I would like like on my wedding day.  And, best of all I looked and felt like myself.

Last night we had a girls night out and headed over to The Pink Comb Salon in Nutley for a perfectly pink party in honor of the salon’s 2nd anniversary! Owner and beauty guru Michelle Loconte (along with her talented staff) hosted an absolutely fabulous party! We ran into so many clients and vendors and had a blast catching up. I’ve known and worked with Michelle for over five years now. I am so proud of her success and am honored to call her not only a reliable vendor, but a close friend too! Way to go Michelle…you’re an inspiration and a true class act! Thanks for having us last night.

It truly was amazing. It was the perfect mixture of relaxation and adventure!!

Steve and I decided to take our hotel up on the ‘complimentary’ photo shoot session and we are glad we did! here are a few shots that we came  home with. Talk about a SOUVENIR!!

Coming back to work after being away is always a little hard… I didnt waste ANY time - I jumped right back into the game with 4 weddings this past weekend. I did two on Friday, one on Saturday and one on Sunday. after a wonderful morning with Lisa and her girls in Mt. Olive, NJ, the girls and I headed to DUMBO Brooklyn with the dynamic duo, David and Amy Lau for an AWESOME Urban Pink Comb Salon Photoshoot. These shots will be used for our upcoming marketing materials and for our Web site!! We are so psyched to see how these babies came out!!

For now, I will leave you with a few shots from Amy and David since we brought them up…. from a wedding back in June… Julie and Neil…. enjoy! I provided the bride with hair and make-up services and marena and angela provided the bridal party with hair and make-up as well. The bride opted for a simple elegant hairstyle and “natural make-up.” no extensions needed for the beautiful head of hair. what a great day it was!!
