As you can see by my attire…….. this was when the weather was warm:) Ahh… can’t wait for the sundress days to get here!

Meet Tamara. No extensions needed to get her the wedding day hair of her dreams! She had beautiful, long flowing locks that were made to be worn in this style!!

My team and I were up and at ‘em early that morning providing Tamara and her girls with wedding day hair services in Clifton, NJ.

I got to work alongside Stacey Kallenberg of As You Wish Wedding and Event Design who was all smiles that morning making sure the day went PERFECTLY smooth.

January was most certainly NOT a cozy…lazy…restful month for me! Sleep? What’s that?!?

January 2010 has been my busiest January to date! I am excited about that! I ended the month with two awesome brides…..

Stacy and her sister-in-law Claudia came to Pink Comb on Saturday morning. Stacy was ELATED! You could sense her happiness and excitement from across the street where she parked before she came in to get beautified!

I provided hair and make-up for Stace and Claudia. Both upgraded to Eyelashes as you can see they look amazing! A little fun fact is that Claudia’s hair is chin length! you would never know! Stacy is honeymooning in Italy as we speak… I wish her and her new hubby all the best!

Sunday morning… Marena and I headed into NYC…. we provided Alyssa and her ladies with hair and makeup in the bridal suite at Pier 60 (Chelsea Lighthouse). Talk about high class! This place was AMAZING!

Alyssa and I have really enjoyed getting to know eachother. she has come to the salon a few times for her color now - prior to her wedding day her hair was a dark red. Now it is a rich chocolate brown and it’s absolutely beautiful!

Alyssa went with a classy updo with a flower in her hair… she finished the look with a birdcage veil which was perfect for her swanky and stylist NYC affair. Her make-up was various shades of purples with big lashes to boot - she is lucky to have that olive skin that Tans! Her several visits for the tanning bed before her big day made a WORLD of difference in her Bright White Dress(which was a replica of Sarah Jessica Parkers Gown in Sex in the City Movie!)

After the wedding, Marena and I had lunch in Hoboken and stopped off at my FAVE place… Crumbs… to get some well deserved treats after working like machines all weekend!

I came home to these beautiful flowers smiling at me from my one and only:)It was the perfect ending to my weekend…………. Take care for now:)

We were happily overwhelmed by the turnout and couldn’t have asked for a more amazing event!!! Our lucky winner received a 4 person wedding hair package and $150.00 certificate to any of our bridal jewelry in our boutique!!

If you’ve been following my blog for the past year, you will know that I was a bridesmaid in one of my BEST FRIENDS weddings this past June 20, 2009! Well, I never got to share the pics with you guys so here they are and today is a special day to share because it’s ALANA’S BIRTHDAY! Happy Birthday to the beautiful Mrs. L! I wish I could relive your wedding again, it was one of the best days of my life!

Alana and Brian were wed at the beautiful Meadow Wood Manor in Randolph New Jersey. Stacey Kallenberg of As You Wish Wedding and Event Design was by our side all day to ensure for the perfect wedding for Alana and her groom. The day went off without a hitch! It was a combination of dinner, dancing, laughter and tears and Love were all around us!

Alana was a beautiful bride… she is wearing hair extensions, eyelash extensions, opted for the regular make-up and wore the very beautiful half up half down style. Alana purchased her brooch from my salon - her hair and make-up are MAGAZINE worthy!!!!!

Hi Everyone! This pas weekend was a great one! I did an AWESOME wedding for an AWESOME client, KAT - who wed at the Meadowwood Manor in Randolph. Her wedding was a vintage “Pin-up” Theme and all of the maids and the bride herself were clad in these retro hairstyles!! Marena and I had a lot of fun working on their do’s….. not to mention, Josh Lynn was there so you know that the photos are going to be AMAZING. I love Winter Weddings! I am thinking of having one myself someday… Nothing is more romantic than a dimly lit room…Candles….0% humidity for perfect hair, holiday decor and a light snowfall outside… OK its Jersey who am I kidding! My luck, we’d have a blizzard. haha!

Here is one of my brides from last December.  Her has was exquisite! And guess what… it’s all hers! Debra has beautiful thick, long hair that was perfect for the updo she chose. As you can see, from every angle, her hair looks flawless! Thanks for letting me be a part of your day Debra!  Can’t believe its been a year already!!

I was a busy bee this weekend!! I did two weddings on Saturday - they were awesome! two lovely ladies - Jennifer at the Sheraton in Weehaken NJ overlooking the NYC Harbor and then it was off to Bayonne to provide hair services to Lynda and her ladies! What a great group of women Rosalie and I had the honor of working with!

After the Weddings, we went back to headquarters where the 8 of us gathered for our annual Pink Comb Christmas Party! We had it once again at Michael’s Pastaria in Nutley. We had a blast!! we concluded our party with a delcious dessert from Mr. Cupcakes in Clifton, if you haven’t checked it out, it’s a must! Save your weight watchers points though because it’s hard to eat just one!!
