Local Businesses and New Jersey Wedding Vendors will also be donating  their services to be raffled off at the event. Tickets are $4.00 for one ticket, again, all proceeds are donating to the cause. Even if you aren’t a bride you will find something fun to try to win!!

. Don’t need a hair cut?! There are plenty of other ways you can contribute! .. Just come by and enjoy this charitable event including refreshments, music, …and a chance to win great prizes!

You don’t need to be present for raffle! We will call you and arrange for you to pick up your prize!

Last year in just 4 hours we raised $1.035.00. we are aiming for $1500.00 Please help us get there!

Since i haven’t posted in awhile!! i finally got my blog back up and running and i can share!! In two short weeks I have done SOOO many do’s but here are some of my faves!!

I would like to dedicate this post to my grandparents… Gram and Gid…. Fran and Lou……

Today celebrates the day they got married 56 years ago! I am so happy to have these two in my life. Did you know that back in the day…. when I was just getting my start….they built me a BEAUTIFUL studio in the basement of their home in West Milford? I used to go there on Sundays for trials – it was really something special. My grandma would make tea and bake cookies and my grandpa(Gid) would greet my clients  at the door and usually talk their ear off

I am FOREVER indebted to them for the help they gave me and the opportunity to spread my wings and fly. Thank you and Happy Anniversary!

Secondly, today, a dear friend of mine, Becky, is getting married(in a few short hours) at the Morristown Hyatt. I was thrilled to be chosen as her hair and make-up artist and even more excited to be a guest at this beautiful affair…. as I sit here with hot rollers in my hair – I just wanted to take the time to send her my love as well and wish her a Happy Anniversary!

Pennylyn of Blossom and Bee in Newfoundland, NJ deliviered the most beautiful bouquets and bouts to Becky and her bridal party this afternoon………… she also delivered a beautiful bouquet to my grandparents for their Anniversary. i just LOVE her work!! she is a true talent!!

hey everyone! i am having issues with WordPress…….which is why you can’t see some of the pics in my posts. This is really frustrating!!

Your patience is much appreciated while I get this issue resolved…. in the meantime, I will be running around like a chicken without a head doing my 6 weddings this weekend… So far I had one Thursday, one Friday and two today… and two tomorrow for 10.10.10!! Let’s go get ‘em!

It’s 5:15(AM) Do you know where your up-do stylists are?

They were at the Glenpointe Marriott in Teaneck, NJ making Carelle and her 24 bridal party members beautiful. That’s right I just said 5:15 am and 25 people in the same sentence!

Here is the final result of the early morning…. a simply stunning ‘do!

After Carelle’s wedding……….. Megan and I headed to Fishkill NY to make Heather and her bridal party beautiful! Heather is a long-time client of Pink Comb and it was so nice to be a part of her special day. Nicole, who does Nicole’s beautiful color….came to meet me for the second part of the day to assist with touch-ups and share in Heather’s beautiful ceremony!

And last but NOT least…. the beautiful Marcie and her girls got ready at the Wilshire Grand Hotel in West Orange. she was stunning! She opted for airbrush make-up with lashes and a killer updo. She has an amazing head of hair! no extensions needed here!!

That’s all for now! Got to get ready for the 4 weddings I have coming up this weekend:)

Meet Stacey: She got married May 1, 2010. it was the perfect spring day for a wedding! It was the perfect hair day as well! Not too hot….. sun was shining… low humidity. Stacey is wearing the most PERFECT style for her hair type and texture. Her super curly hair could not be faught!  Why would you want to TOTALLY straighten a natural gift, girls? just go with it! She smoothed her hair out with a blow-dryer….(no flat iron needed) and I worked my magic to play up her natural wave into a beautiful arrangement of curls. The headband she chose accentuated this lovely ‘do – and as you can see her girls wore stunning styles as well, thanks to the help of Marena. Photos are compliments of Josh Lynn Photography.
