What an AMAZING weekend. I did two weddings, one Friday and one Saturday.They had one big thing in common…….. they both got married at the Venetian in Garfield!!

Both brides were a pleasure to work with and their hair was Fab-U-Lous! After all…. what’s a bride without stunning hair?

I had the pleasure of attending my second bride, Vanessa’s, wedding on Saturday as she hired my staff and I for touch-ups to keep her looking PICTURE perfect. Everything about the wedding was beautiful… from the decor, to the dresses to the people…. I just wanted to share these beautiful images of my November 13, 2009 bride, Christine. We met the bridal part bring and early at the Old Mill in in Basking Ridge, NJ.

Angela and I provided hair and make-up services for her and her girls! They all opted for regular makeup and they were all STUNNING!!Christine, with medium length hair, opted for a low, classy bun with curls adorned by a beautiful headpiece.

Congrats Christine! you looked Amazing!

Hey Everyone! I hope all is well! i cannot believe we are in for yet another storm! I love the snow and all but I am really looking forward to the spring! I have two weddings this weekend and I hope this snow doesn’t put a damper in my traveling…… thank god for S.U.V’s!!

Moving on… the salon is CLOSED today, February 25, 2010 due to inclement weather! Stay safe and warm everyone!

I wanted to let you all know I am now taking reservations for March 2011!!!!

I have also put a new policy in effect, effective February 15, 2010. Any bride who has booked before this is free from the surcharge. The policy is EXACTLY the same except for the $100.00 surcharge! Days will vary from year to year pending the day of the week the holiday falls on! The entire holiday weekend is not affected by this policy!

Here it is!

There is an 8 person minimum for travel on a holiday. Holidays include Easter Sunday Memorial Day, Labor Day, 4^th of July , July 3, 2011, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, The Day after Christmas, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. There is a $100.00 Holiday Surcharge for these Dates which is separate Fee and is non-negotiable.

I will be away from Saturday, February 20 - Thursday February 25 spending the week up in Lake Placid!I will be skiing Whiteface…exploring the Olympic Village and tasting some Ubu Ale!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentines Day filled with love and laughter! I know I did!

My romantic weekend commenced with a HUGE wedding on friday February 12. Marena and I provided hair and make-up services to Delta and her girls in Cranford, NJ. The day was orchestrated by the ever-so-wonderful wedding day coordination services of Pampered Bride Weddings!

I had off the rest of the weekend. It was SUCH a treat to not wake up to an alarm on a Saturday. Even if I dont have a wedding on a Saturday, I usually go to the salon. Not this past weekend though. Steve and I were up and at ‘em early skiing the day away at Mt. Creek. We are heading up to Lake Placid this weekend for a ski getaway and have been getting our skills up to par all season! I can’t wait! I have two HUGE weddings upon my return on Feb 27 and Feb 28! I will surely be WELL RESTED for those babies after my wonderful vacation!

And now… I will leave you with some images to warm you up on this cold winter day…. here is Ann Marie, who was married this past August 1, 2009. Rosalie and I made her and her ladies exceptionally BEAUTIFUL for this very special day. turns out… Ann Marie was college roomies with my cousin Joni… such a SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL!

Side note……… Yes…….. it’s all her hair! She was a beauty!

Wow! Can’t believe the storm we just got! I haven’t seen snow like that in YEARS! Loved every second it it. I hope everyone enjoyed their day off(if you had one). It was much needed in our home! When’s the last time you layed around in your PJ’s and didnt have to worry about a thing????

My team and I were up and at ‘em early that morning providing Tamara and her girls with wedding day hair services in Clifton, NJ.

I got to work alongside Stacey Kallenberg of As You Wish Wedding and Event Design who was all smiles that morning making sure the day went PERFECTLY smooth.

January was most certainly NOT a cozy…lazy…restful month for me! Sleep? What’s that?!?

January 2010 has been my busiest January to date! I am excited about that! I ended the month with two awesome brides…..

Stacy and her sister-in-law Claudia came to Pink Comb on Saturday morning. Stacy was ELATED! You could sense her happiness and excitement from across the street where she parked before she came in to get beautified!

I provided hair and make-up for Stace and Claudia. Both upgraded to Eyelashes as you can see they look amazing! A little fun fact is that Claudia’s hair is chin length! you would never know! Stacy is honeymooning in Italy as we speak… I wish her and her new hubby all the best!

Sunday morning… Marena and I headed into NYC…. we provided Alyssa and her ladies with hair and makeup in the bridal suite at Pier 60 (Chelsea Lighthouse). Talk about high class! This place was AMAZING!

Alyssa and I have really enjoyed getting to know eachother. she has come to the salon a few times for her color now - prior to her wedding day her hair was a dark red. Now it is a rich chocolate brown and it’s absolutely beautiful!

Alyssa went with a classy updo with a flower in her hair… she finished the look with a birdcage veil which was perfect for her swanky and stylist NYC affair. Her make-up was various shades of purples with big lashes to boot - she is lucky to have that olive skin that Tans! Her several visits for the tanning bed before her big day made a WORLD of difference in her Bright White Dress(which was a replica of Sarah Jessica Parkers Gown in Sex in the City Movie!)

After the wedding, Marena and I had lunch in Hoboken and stopped off at my FAVE place… Crumbs… to get some well deserved treats after working like machines all weekend!

I came home to these beautiful flowers smiling at me from my one and only:)It was the perfect ending to my weekend…………. Take care for now:)

We were happily overwhelmed by the turnout and couldn’t have asked for a more amazing event!!!
